Life's Little Ironies

Haven't been up to much until recently. Searched for jobs online, and had went down for a few interviews. Most of which wasted my time because they were not up to my expectations(market standard). Shall not elaborate much.

But anyway, I'd gotten a 1 month contract job at ACR (Asia Capital Reinsurance) introduced by my aunt. When I went up to their office at Suntec for an interview, the first thing I thought of was "Wow, how nice it will be to work here!". The company was huge and the interior renovation was stylishly decorated, with glass panels everywhere. In whole, the environment looks really crisp, elegant and high class.

 It's an MNC, so I decided to try it out to gain some exposure in huge companies like theirs. Whether my contract extends, or become a permanent job, nothing is certain. I'm apprehensive about it, but hopefully all goes well! But one thing for sure, I have to adjust my body clock back! Just thinking of the travelling time to Suntec? Oh dear.



Met the girls for some sushi lovin' and they came over to my house to help me with my banner. Love how it turns out. :D

Just four more days to the combined birthday party with b! :D 

Finished doing the banner, bought and ordered helium balloons, settled venue, cake & catering. Now just  hope everything will go smoothly. Teehee! :)

And brother told me he's gonna get me the Incanto Charms. One item off the wishlist! ^^

Happy things that happened this week:

1. Met up with bestie for some HTH catching up & camwhore session.

2. Ate some good food in conjunction of Lam's maternal side father's day dinner celebration.

3. Went to JB with friends, sang ktv (6 bucks each for three hours including drinks! And the room is probably more high tech than kbox in sg.), went for thai oil massage (My first time trying this. Feels weird to not be wearing anything except their disposable underwear but nonetheless a therapeutic experience.) & ate lok lok! (Something that I wanted to try since ages ago.). 

4. Sentosa for some chilling session with the sister, b, kevin & kris.

I rejected the job offer anyway. It might be a good thing, since I got called up for another interview. Hahaha Hopefully things will turn out well.

Side note, one week plus more to my combined birthday party! Haven't decided what to wear yet though.

LOLLLLLLLL Hahahaha I thought for a really long time after so many ppl ask me what i want. :x But the best birthday present will ultimately be my friends and families' presence. Nothing else beats that. :)

Breakouts and Periods

Its the time of the month again, hence I tend to get frustrated and stress out easily. The consequences of that will be pimple breakouts that I undesirably have to face every single month. Sighhhh! Problems and more problems. 

Are there any solutions to dry skin and old acne scars? :( Though I know the reason is partly due to me not having my beauty sleep and drinking lots of water. :x I seriously need to have some secret recipe. 

On a lighter note, I recently did eyebrow embroidery at #1 Salon @ Bishan by Amy. To book an appointment, it has to be four months advance. Luckily I got a slot that someone cancelled. Besides that, when i was at the salon, there were seven people before me waiting to do eyebrow embroidery. -_- Quite exaggerating, but true!  Okay anyway back to topic. Many of you are curious how it went right?! Hahaha

Though the process was painful(to me), but all the pain, clenching of fists, long waiting time was worth it. I'm really satisfied with the results! It looks really natural and i'm totally loving it. Hehe now nobody will say i dont have eyebrows! Just have to go back for a second touch up in October and it'll be able to last a few years.

"Everyday I'm Bowling" to the tune of "Everyday I'm Shuffling". Our clique's latest past time, Bowling. LOL

We went bowling almost thrice every week. Kinda crazy. All thanks to b's influence.

We went kite-flying after much contemplation! 

Its the five of us again. haha

And Tony is now Recruit Goh. Have fun in tekong pal.

Going for an interview this Tuesday. Totally psyched about it because it's my first official interview. No idea what to expect seriously. O: Ahhh hopefully all goes well and the interviewer is friendly.

Meeting the bff tomorrow finally after weeks(or days)?! And ending the day with b's family dinner at vivo!

Started watching a korean drama called Lie To Me recently, and it got me hooked right from the first episode! Heh starring Yoon Eun Hye & Kang Ji Hwan. Go watch! :)

Dyed my hair dark brown/black. I look different right? Because I think so. Aanyway I dyed so that I can have reddish brown hair in a few weeks time! If not my hair colour will look really light with my old hair colour.


Went Plaza Sing with b to get decos for our guestbooks and banner!





Had Manhattan for dinner. And of course, we ordered three meals as usual. Haha

I cooked Aglio Olio with bacon and cherry tomatoes for dinner yesterday, all by myself! Hahaha and my parents claimed it's not bad. So im quite satisfied. Alright, now i know the joy from cooking.
